Hello, my name is Trina. I love spending time in my kitchen where everything (usually) goes right if you follow the directions. I wish life worked that way. I also love finding balance in life between food, exercise, work, and rest.
I believe that we could all be healthier and happier if we just slowed down, threw the pop can into the recycling, and listened to our bodies.
I love cooking. I love knowing exactly what I’m putting into my body. I love adding less butter, and extra veggies. But I also love making thick creamy pasta and yummy brownies because life is about balance and is surely too short to not eat cookies. Eat the cookie! But not 6.
I also love exercising. That’s a lie. I don’t love it, but I love how it makes me feel. I like feeling strong and capable. I discovered exercise in college. My best friend got me into running and when I met my husband, he encouraged me to try even more in the gym. I’m grateful to both of them for making me a better person.
